Why Reformer Pilates is good for you

When you first see a Pilates Reformer it can often feel quite scary as they do look complicated if you have never seen them before. Remember that the origin of the Reformer goes back to Joseph Pilates who developed a series of exercises to mobilise his injured body while confined to a hospital bed in the 1930’s. Joseph Pilates adapted pulleys and ropes to the hospital bed and over time successfully healed his body and then started to help others using the same methodology- and the rest is history.
