Studio Pilates

A 50-minute Pilates class, using specialised apparatus including the Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, the Ped-A-Pul and the Spring Wall. There will be a maximum of 4 people per session where you will be guided through a series of exercises on each piece of equipment.

The Apparatus

  • Wunda Chair

    Resembling a backless chair, the ‘Wunda Chair’ consists of a wooden based topped by a pedalled seat that doubled as the world’s smallest exercise mat.

  • Spring Wall

    A wooden board with leg & arm springs attached for resistance-based work. Exercises on this can be done standing, kneeling, sitting, side-lying, supine or prone.

  • Ladder Barrel

    The ladder barrel combines ladder rungs with a barrel surface for stretching, strengthening & flexibility exercises.

    • Tuesdays at 5pm

 
  • Certified Practitioner of the Pilates Studio (Diploma with Polestar Education)

    You can catch Kara for one of our ‘Studio Pilates’ classes on:

    • Wednesdays at 8am

    • Fridays at 8am

    • Saturdays at 10:15am.
